Email Gateway Automation: Implemented a secure listener that monitors designated email inboxes 24/7. The system automatically detects new purchase orders, triggers the workflow, and securely downloads all attachment types (PDFs, images, Excel sheets). Multi-Modal AI Extraction: Leveraged GPT-4 Vision capabilities to process diverse and unstructured order formats. By 'reading' the documents visually, the system can accurately interpret complex layouts, handwritten notes, and non-standard tables that traditional OCR might miss. Format Agnostic Processing: Engineered the pipeline to handle all document variations without pre-defined templates. Whether the order is a scanned PDF, a photo of a document, or a digital spreadsheet, the vision model normalizes the data into a standardized structure. Production Database Sync: Developed a structured data pipeline that validates the extracted information and commits it directly to the centralized production database, instantly queuing orders for manufacturing without manual intervention.
